Melbournians are encouraged to join in the St.George Melbourne Marathon Festival. Competitors can choose from one of six different runs or walk which demonstrates that there really is ‘A Run For All Ages’.
The event is unique as all the races conclude with a lap of the MCG. The longer runs pass some of elbourne’s most famous landmarks including Flinders Street Station, The Botanic Gardens, Albert Park Lake and the beaches of Port Phillip Bay. Competitors can raise money and pledge their support for official charity artners, by nominating The Cerebral Palsy Education Centre and James Macready-Bryan oundation when registering.
You can choose from six different distances:

Flight Centre Half Marathon - 21.1km
The Coffee Club - 10km
ASICS Run - 5.7km
ASICS Walk - 4km
Kids WB Run - 2.5km
