TV weatherman Grant Denyer introduces his ‘little angel’ – daughter Sailor Shelley Denyer – in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with New Idea. Wife Cheryl, who has already bounced back from an epic 28-hour labour and emergency caesarean, says she had been fond of the name ever since reading of the unusual moniker in New Idea. ‘One of Christie Brinkley’s children is called Sailor, and I always wanted to use it myself one day, if I ever had a daughter,’ Chezzi says. Amazingly, Grant had also fallen in love with the name after meeting a little girl named Sailor on Hamilton Island several years ago. ‘That’s why I knew we must be having a daughter, because it felt almost like fate,’ Cheryl says.
