"Dad is very upset.We both cried" - Kanimozhi

DMK chief M Karunanidhi and his daughter Kanimozhi cried when they met at the Tihar jail in Delhi on Monday. "We cried," a composed-looking Kanimozhi said on Tuesday, a day after the emotional meeting, after her father flew in specially from Chennai for this purpose. "Dad is very upset. It is very sad that he has to go through this at this age," said the DMK MP, who is in jail since Friday. Kanimozhi, who met her half-brother Stalin at the court on Tuesday, got to know from him about Karunanidhi's health. "He has been very worried and has lost a lot of weight," she said. Soon after Kanimozhi's arrest on Friday, Karunanidhi had said he was sad and maintained that his daughter was innocent.
